Comic Con Begins

San Diego’s Comic Con is in full swing. Over 150,000 pop culture enthusiasts have invaded San Diego’s historic Gas Lamp District.

Today is the first official day and the costume clad fans have been out and about since early this morning.

Dead Nude Woman found in Beach-Side Mansion

A 32 year-old-woman is found nude and dead in the backyard of a historical Coronado mansion.

The home in the small beach community that sits on an island in the San Diego bay was rocked when the nude body of 32-year-old Rebecca M. Nalepa is found dead in the back yard of a seven million dollar beach-side mansion.

Nalepa was the girlfriend to the home’s owner, 54-year-old Jonah Shacknai. Investigators say that she suffered a “violent” death.

1 dead, 8 missing after tourist boat sinks off Baja

A chartered fishing boat filled with Americans capsized in the Sea of Cortez.

The ship is called the Erik and was on a 4-night 5-day fishing trip when disaster struck just off of San Felipe. Somehow the large charter ship capsized and all 44 people on board were sent into the sea.

So far all but 37 or the 44 people on board have been rescued.

At least one is believed dead.
