The suspicious device that shut down a terminal at San Diego’s International Airport Lindberg Field is harmless, according to authorities.
At 8:15 San Diego Harbor Police were called out to the Alaska terminal to investigate an unattended bag left curbside.
The airport shut down the boarding terminal and re-routed traffic.
A K-9 signaled that there may be some explosives inside the bag. However after investigating the bag the Bomb Squad determined that there were no explosives.
The airport is now open.
